Dhol Etc. is currently looking for an energetic and motivated individual to assist on a number of initiatives.
About DholEtc: We are a company of young individuals driven by the pursuit of bringing quality music instruments and information to the US community. After great success over the past years we are in need of expanding the team by including a full time member to help us achieve critical goals.
Responsibilities for this individual would include but are not limited to:
- Attending to phone calls, answering customer questions relating to order status and our inventory of products.
- Packaging and shipping of products.
- Continually updating DholEtc information on various social media cites - Facebook, Twitter etc.
- Working along with other team members to create strong knowledge base around each instrument. Includes scouting and hiring talent for video tutorials, promo videos etc.
- Playing an integral role in Marketing Initiatives.
- Conducting sales calls to inform potential customers of our products.
- And much more...
Additional details:
- Position: 8 hours/day - Monday - Friday.
- Compensation: You will be compensated at a rate between $8-$15 commensurate with experience. Additionally you will receive 10% off on all products.
- Applicant should be able to commute to office in Somerset, NJ
- Applicant must have a car for out of office visits.
- Travel will be local.
Who should apply:
- Strong interest in Music (especially North Indian music).
- Prior experience in Indian Music is a plus, please describe while applying.
- Ability to work flexibly, some projects might run into the weekend. DholEtc would compensate accordingly.
- Minimum of a H.S degree.
- Fluency in English is a must. Ability to understand and speak Indian languages a plus.
