The bugchu is a tradtional punjabi folk instrument made up of a custom-shaped gourd with stretched skin at one end and a thick cord piercing its center. A knob of wood is tied to the other end of the string which is held in the palm of the same hand that holds the bugchu in the crook of the arm. The taut string then is plucked with the fingers or with a striker to produce a single note hum. It is difficult to find an authentic bugchu, don't miss the opportunity to add this rare piece to your collection at such a low price!
